Networking hardware?!?!?

Question by MB: Networking hardware?!?!?
Yesterday I went in and reformatted my computer. Now I can’t do anything with the internet because it says that It Cannot Find Networking Hardware. What does that mean? I think I need to reinstall a driver but how do I do that? I don’t think I have the disk anymore. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

If you are installing Window’s XP it should have a large enough driver database to load a generic driver.

Once you have done this cruz the Internet, go to the web site of your laptop manufacture and download the correct driver.

Borrow someone’s pc go to the manufacturer’s website and download the driver for the ethernet adapter. Then install it on your pc.
